He Likes A Boy In Uniform

Im honour of the ever-approaching release of the Pipette's debut, here is a lovely live show from Leeds. I'm wondering whether or not the album will be a chart success or not - the songs are good enough, but they stand out a bit on the radio, in between Gnarls Barkley and The Strokes - this might work against them. Oh well, as long as they keep touring. Is it obvious that this is being written in a rush?
Tracklisting:
ABC
Dirty Mind
It Hurts To See You Dance So Well
Intro
Kitchen Sink
I Like A Boy In Uniform (School Uniform)
Tell Me What You Want
We Are The Pipettes

Your Kisses Are Wasted On Me
Download it here on Savefile.
Be sure to go here and grab a live show by Beirut in New York, it's great to hear the songs live, and there's plenty non-album stuff in there too.
And finally, since I may not post again for a few days, here's some Spencer Krug-related music for you:
Wolf Parade - I'll Believe In Anything (CBC session)
Sunset Rubdown - I'll Believe In Anything
Spencer Krug - I'll Believe In Anything (acoustic solo version)
AND!!!
My Brightest Diamond - Disappear

You might want to know that this is from one of Julia's last gigs, and there's a video version of the whole set floating about the net which apart from their obvious visual element means you get to see Rose's fantastically embarrassed reaction to misreading the setlist after Dirty Mind. (Is it just me or does Rose, not usually unattractive by any stretch of the imagination, look like a transvestite on that cover?)
I remember that Rose did that the night I saw them, and dissolved into laughter while the others explained that she kept doing it. You might be right about the cover.
Cheers for The Pipettes stuff, first heard them from here a while back. I'm loving the album too.
Cheers for this as I much prefer the Pipettes live to the recorded version. on't know why but they just sema bit too gimmicky on record but really work live. And I'm not just talking about the ogling of 3 pretty girls. Well, 2 and the air hostess one.
Oh, my big thanks for the new song by My Brightest Diamond, I love it! You made my day!
i must admit that when you first had the pipettes on here, i only heard 'dirty mind' and i didnt much care for it. but after a while, you kept posting them and when you had the XFM sessions of 'pull shapes' and 'why did you stay' they became one of my most listened to bands. thank you. the pipettes are awesome. i was wondering if you had any more of their XFM session?
