I know it's my last year

{Austria, 1938}
Apologies for the absence, but I had stuff to do. Normal service will resume now, with this:
Inlets - Deadly Disclosure (Department of Eagles)
I haven't heard the original, sadly, but if it's anything like this it's beautiful, though probably in a different way, maybe warm where this version goes cold, like looking at the same moon from different countries. Sebastian Krueger (of Inlets) has a way of recording and setting up a song so that everything sounds like morning light hazing in through the thick curtains of your bedroom, and sometimes it's just perfect.
If you haven't already, you can grab his Vestibule EP from a while back for free here. This is my favourite track:
Inlets - Decks, Up and Above

Elswhere, a new Irish music magazine has launched! State should stir things up a little, let's hope things go their way.
