my heart and i

So, last week this took place, and while I wasn't fortunate enough to be in attendance (thanks, graduation), you can enjoy some of the finest moments here, via YouTube and some lovely person with a camera. These include the above video - Cathy's cover of Gloomy Sunday, officially my favourite of all gloom-related songs, Lisa Hannigan singing 'The Lady Is A Tramp', and a performance by Conor O'Brien (once of the Immediate) of his adaptation of the poem 'Do Not Stand At My Grave And Weep.'

He also has a MySpace where you can hear two very promising songs from his new project, Villagers. Listen to 'The Meaning of the Ritual'. It's rather beautiful.

Elvis Costello - Gloomy Sunday
Paul Robeson - Gloomy Sunday
Billie Holiday - Gloomy Sunday
The Immediate - Never Seen
